• Drive your truck, or car down the Shores for $10 a day.

• Paddle, canoe the sunset by Halifax River or wake up to a spectacular sunrise jog, walk or yoga.

• Visit The Casements on the Halifax River, the beloved winter home of John D. Rockefeller!

• Visit The Shores Community Park for tennis, basketball, small and big dog fenced parks and beautiful magnolia and oak canopy! 

• Play miniature golf or practice your swing at various golf courses around town.

• Go to the Tanger Outlets and enjoy a truly peaceful and family friendly shopping experience, with all of your favorite brands and a beautiful open-air environment. 

• Rent bikes or motor scooters to ride on the sand. Peninsula Drive offers a scenic trip to Ponce Inlet.

• Rent golf carts and stroll down miles of sandy beaches and fun surf waves.

• Visit the Daytona International Speedway or learn about local racing history right on our beach. (Did you know that the area's famous, first stock car races took place on a 3.1 mile beach run in the 1930s and 40s?)
• Visit the local weekend flea market.
• Head to the Museum of Cuban Art!

• Go fishing on half- or full-day tours and learn about Florida’s ocean life. Manatees and dolphin may accompany you while you paddle. Also sunset boat tours available!
